Join us at St. John of the Cross Cluster for Inspiring Homilies and Faith-Filled Fellowship
The School of Faith is a sacred space where believers of every age are invited to grow in wisdom, discipleship, and love for God. Rooted in Scripture, this ministry echoes the enduring call of the Lord: “These words that I command you today shall be upon your heart. Teach them diligently to your children, and talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7). Faith is not meant to be confined to a single moment, but woven into the whole of life. In the School of Faith, learning becomes a lifelong journey where children, youth, and adults are formed together in the knowledge of God’s truth and the practice of Christian living.
Following the example of the early Church, which “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2:42), our community gathers to learn the faith, live it with joy, and share it generously with others. This work of formation reflects Paul’s exhortation to the Church: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom” (Colossians 3:16). Through study, prayer, and shared reflection, the School of Faith helps believers deepen their relationship with Christ and become confident witnesses of the Gospel. This page invites you to explore how our ministry nurtures hearts and minds in the way of Christ, building a community where faith is learned, practiced, and joyfully proclaimed.
The documents of the School of Faith invite believers to deepen their understanding of the Catholic tradition and to grow in the wisdom that comes from God’s Word. Throughout Scripture, God’s people are encouraged to meditate on His teachings—“Write them on the tablets of your heart” (Proverbs 3:3) and “my people perish for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Just as the early Christians “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2:42), the Church continues to pass on her treasury of faith so that every generation may know, love, and follow Christ with conviction. These documents—rich in doctrine, prayer, spirituality, and history—are offered to help the faithful enter more deeply into God’s truth, for indeed, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
At the same time, Scripture reminds us that studying the faith is not merely an intellectual pursuit but a path toward deeper discipleship. St. Paul urges Timothy to “continue in what you have learned,” reminding him that all Scripture is “inspired by God and useful for teaching… and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:14–16). In this spirit, the School of Faith seeks to form believers who both understand and live the truths of the Church, embodying Christ’s teachings in daily life and sharing them with others. This page invites you to explore our collection of resources and documents—an open door to discovering the beauty, depth, and transforming power of the Catholic faith as it illuminates your mind, strengthens your heart, and guides your journey.
